The annual event – now in its 20th year – was founded by:
Charles Modlin, MD, MBA.
Dr. Modlin has made it his life’s work to ensure every person – regardless of their skin color, where they live or their economic circumstances – has a chance at a long, healthy life.
And as MetroHealth’s first Medical Director for Equity, Inclusion and Diversity, Dr. Modlin is ensuring that all patients’ needs, especially those rooted in historical disparities, are met with compassion and understanding.
